Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By using Zanvuo Scan you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, in line with the rules of the App Store or Google Play from which you obtained it. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app except where the law expressly allows it.

3. Your content and lawful use

You own everything you scan. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to scan, store and share each document, and for using the app lawfully. Do not use the app to copy or forge identity documents, money or other protected documents, or to infringe anyone's rights. The watermark feature is provided to help you limit how copies of your ID are used; it does not guarantee that a copy cannot be misused.

4. Your responsibility for your data

Because your files are stored only on your device, losing, resetting or replacing the device, or uninstalling the app, can permanently delete them. Keep “Include in system backup” on, or keep your own encrypted backups (.zvbackup), and keep your backup passphrase safe — it cannot be recovered.

5. Accuracy

Automatic edge detection, enhancement, orientation and glare or lighting hints may not be perfect. Always check scans before relying on them, especially for official, legal or financial purposes.

6. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from the use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be excluded.

8. Changes and termination

We may update the app and these Terms; the current version is always shown in the app. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
